The intended purpose of the Nasopharyngeal Airway (NPA) is to provide a patent airway for a patient with a blockage or potential blockage of the nasal cavity or nasopharynx.

The device is suitable for patients with a blockage or potential blockage of the nasal cavity or nasopharynx. It is intended for semi-conscious or unconscious patients with an intact gag reflex.
