1.TECC Curiosity
Yonnatan Calderón grew up in Guerrero, Mexico surrounded by security issues. As a curious child, he was fascinated by soldiers and emergency responders, always watching them closely to see how they provided first aid. Little did he know that this childhood curiosity would shape his destiny and lead him on a remarkable journey.
2.Become a prehospital care operator
"My decision to be a pre-hospital operator was due to the fact that, as a result of a violent event, I had to have the need to know what to do in the event of such an event, since on that afternoon in October 2018, on my return home, I was attacked by unknown personnel with a firearm. Fire and when repelling the aggression, I realized that a person was injured, and with my minimal knowledge at that time, he gave me the guidelines to be able to attend to him, and from there arose the need to improve day by day in matters of security and prehospital care since it is an obligation that someone who is in the security field must complete their training.
After an attack and not knowing what to do in front of the injured and it was my decision to be a medical operator."
Yonnatan's life took a dramatic turn when he found himself caught in the midst of a violent attack, feeling helpless and unsure of how to assist the wounded. This pivotal moment ignited a fire within him to become a medical operator, someone who could provide crucial pre-hospital care in such critical situations. In October 2018, Yonnatan witnessed a violent attack where a bystander was injured. Though he tried to help, Yonnatan lacked the medical skills to properly respond in such a situation. This traumatic experience spurred his decision to become a prehospital care operator so he could save lives during emergencies. Yonnatan studied emergency medicine in Mexico and abroad, earning certifications as a civil and tactical prehospital care provider.

Driven by this experience, Yonnatan embarked on a path of learning and growth. He studied extensively in Mexico and abroad, becoming a proficient provider of both civil and tactical pre-hospital care. Additionally, he established the renowned educational center, C-TECC, a beacon of excellence in training emergency medical service (EMS) and law enforcement officers (LEO) in Mexico. Yonnatan's dedication to empowering these professionals to deliver effective pre-hospital care has significantly improved patient outcomes and saved countless lives.
3.TECC and Rhino Rescue
"My experience with Rhino Rescue was first of all interested in knowing the quality of the tourniquets. The first Ifak I bought was in June 2022 and I was convinced of the quality that it has. From there, in Medical Backpacks, I have tourniquets and different supplies. Although Yonnatan couldn't capture photos of the incident, the grateful patient shared their gratitude, emphasizing how Rhino Rescue's equipment played a crucial role in their survival.
4.Creating the world

Today, Yonnatan continues his noble mission of training TECC suppliers across Mexico. Yonnatan's journey, driven by a childhood fascination and fueled by a desire to make a difference, serves as an inspiration to all who aspire to provide lifesaving care.
