Extremity hemorrhage is the leading cause of preventable battlefield death. The tourniquet is the most important item in any IFAK — and the most counterfeited. For US-market kits, we supply the CAT Gen 7 from authorized channels. For global markets, our approved-design tourniquet has passed regulatory clearance and is manufactured in our own ISO 13485 facility. No third-party sourcing. No supply chain gaps. Hemostatic gauze options include QuikClot Combat Gauze and ChitoGauze (chitosan). Pressure dressings are Israeli-style with integrated pressure bars. Every component lot is traceable.

Nasopharyngeal airways, vented chest seals, and decompression needles — the second and third priorities in MARCH.

Airway obstruction and tension pneumothorax account for the remaining preventable combat deaths after hemorrhage. Our IFAKs include NPAs with water-soluble lubricant — sized for adult anatomy. Chest seals are vented: a one-way valve lets air escape without letting air in. Unvented seals can accelerate tension pneumothorax under field conditions. We don't supply them. For advanced configurations, decompression needles are available for units with paramedic-level training.

Trauma dressings, emergency blankets, shears, and gloves — the support layer that completes the MARCH algorithm.

After hemorrhage is controlled and the airway is managed, preventing hypothermia becomes critical. A trauma patient loses heat fast. Our advanced IFAK configurations include mylar emergency blankets and additional trauma dressings. Support items are not afterthoughts: trauma shears rated to cut through uniform fabric and webbing, nitrile gloves in multiple pairs, and surgical tape. Every item is chosen to survive storage in a vehicle trunk in summer or a rucksack in winter. A kit checked during deployment needs to work when it's opened.

Component-level refill packs. Replace what you use. Track what's expiring. One purchase order for kits, spares, and training supplies.

Military IFAK components carry expiration dates. When a component expires or is used, our refill packs replace it individually. You don't buy a new kit because one chest seal passed its date. For unit logistics: standardize your resupply process. One PO covers IFAKs, component refills, and training supplies. We also supply blue training tourniquets — same dimensions as the live unit, purpose-colored to prevent confusion during kit checks. If your unit runs TCCC refresher training, ask about training-class quantities.
